The Barricade
This painting means a lot to me and I made this for my mental health series. I made this at a time my mental health was very poor. I just let go and let all of the negativity I was feeling to leave through my brush and be transmuted into positivity. The black area in the center is the inside of my head with all of the negative thoughts and emotions was constantly bombarding me. The ring around the center is my depression creating a barricade preventing anything positive from reaching through. The outside is all the kind and loving positive words from those that I love trying to break through the barrier to reach into my head and overcome the negative thoughts.
Not everyone will like this painting but I hope the right person is drawn to it and purchases it.
